While we are busy finishing DIG, you can see a few examples of DIG at work.

You need to install a free browser plugins such as: Cortona® available for MS Windows and Mac; OVAL (openvrml) available for Windows, Mac and Linux; FreeWRL - VRML X3D browser available for Linux, Mac OS/X, and other Unix-style platforms. We are working on our own 3D multiplatform browser that will be incorporated in DIG.

If you have never used virtual reality browser before, it takes some practice to control it. Furthermore, the behaviour of the virtual world depends on the video card, RAM, and the processing speed of your machine. Your friendly game-playing teenager knows all about it... Please read the PDF files for tips how to interpret the information contained in the virtual world of DIG.

Example 1.PDF - EITC shows how DIG transforms the information from the Excel file Comparison study of 24 technology centres around the world pertaining to EITC. We used the information in this study to visualize positioning of EITC relative to other technology centres.

Example 2.PDF - Breast cancer data set  shows how DIG can track the progression or regression of cancer markers, show the borderline cases, and help to predict (and differentiate) the characteristics of disease in each individual.

Example 3.PDF - Rules are created to prevent chaos...         In many cases rules have the annoying longevity after the logic of their application is long gone (and some have weak logic to begin with). Instead of streamlining the process they create impediments. It is much easier to optimize processes with DIG, which clearly shows the chaos and points the way out of it.
